Our Story
Jeff Spitzer founded Spitzer Construction in 1983. He enjoyed working with his hands, following in his father's footsteps, and was very attentive to details. He took pride in his work, as did his son, Wade, who started working with his father in 1987. Jeff and Wade started S & S Cabinets in 2001 to offer quality cabinets for the custom homes they built.
Today, this family owned company continues with the addition of the third generation of Spitzers, dedicated to making your project uniquely yours and still emphasizing the attention to details. An interior designer was added to the team in 2008 when Jeff's health declined.
We would not be where we are today without our loyal clients and dedicated crew of builders, finishers, and installers. Our mission has always been to provide superior quality within any budget, provide a high level of customer service and always remember "the details make the difference."

Wade Spitzer has over 32 years experience working with his father, and now his sons, in the construction and cabinet industries. He often attends trade shows and seminars to learn about the latest construction techniques and materials available. His dedication to the details can be seen in your project as you look at the finish work and wonder "how could he cut that piece so small." Wade's experience shows when you meet with him to discuss your new build or remodel. He will share information and knowledge from past jobs to help you feel confident about decisions for your project."
Tracy Design Specialist
Hi! I am Tracy, your design specialist at S & S Cabinets. In 2001, my father, Jeff, and my brother, Wade, formed S & S Cabinets mainly to give my father something unique and challenging to do that was “physically less demanding” on his body. My father loved building anything and everything out of wood. He enjoyed the satisfaction he received “seeing nothing” turn into “something special.”
Shortly after S & S Cabinets was started, our father became ill with cancer. It was his dream to see the cabinet shop continue. My brother, the cabinet design and build team had made this happen. They took the cabinet shop to a level that has surpassed any of his expectations. Something he would be extremely proud of.
In September 2022, the opportunity arose to follow in my fathers’ footsteps. I knew it would not be easy but I was up for the challenge and looked forward to a new adventure. Doing what my father enjoyed and loved, was something that I was excited about.
For nine months, I learned as much as I could from our designer, Terri, before she retired. I have taken online courses, learned our old design software while I learned and helped implement our new design software program that gives our clients better 3D visuals. I continue to take educational courses online to further my knowledge in both cabinets and construction.
